A proper margarita should balance sweet and spice. Taco Bamba serves a “proper” margarita at a fair price and a ridiculous price if you catch their happy hour. I judge a taco place first, foremost, and most critically by their birria. Taco Bamba's birria is, to this chef's liking, among the very best in the area. I look forward to going back any time, and often.

The food and service was excellent. Life hack: Eat Taco Bamba on a Mondays instead of Tuesdays or both Mondays and Tuesdays. More Highlights they were playing all my favorite old school 90s hip hop jams.

I was so scared at first to try with the mixed reviews. I am so happy I did decide to try them. The food was amazing and so tasty. The chicken melted in your mouth. You need to give them a try asap. Im definitely coming back!!

Despite the crowd and a bit of a chaotic ordering process, the tacos were fantastic! I especially loved the birria taco with roasted lamb—it was delicious, well-marinated, and had no off flavors. The Jamaican beef patty, similar to a beef empanada, was absolutely amazing! However, I wouldn’t recommend the chips with guacamole, cuz the chips felt like the kind you’d find at any supermarket and the guacamole just not worth the price.

Excellent experience - food was really good, service was awesome... U order at a counter an other they call out ur number, but everyone is super helpful with recommendations. Tacos, super, but wings are great too.

Looove Taco Bamba and this location is beautiful! The “aliens have landed” and “spicy shroom” are incredible. I got the 11 lobster taco and I’d say it was maybe not worth the price. As someone who used to go to the OG Chinatown location, I do really miss some of their best tacos, including the TNT, Maradona, Black Mamba, and Patito. In fact, that whole menu of “nuestros” was waaaay better (in my opinion) than these ones... but alas - all their locations are different so I will need to adjust! Great addition to the neighborhood - so much better than other similar options up the street

Really amazing tacos. Seriously maybe the best in DC or at least the area. Love that chill vibes. Decent options for veggie people. My only complaint is eating out of plastic deli containers.

I had an amazing experience here! The food is quick, delicious, and the quality of the beef is outstanding. The way they prepare the cheese in the tacos adds an extra layer of flavor that I loved. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving something tasty and satisfying!
